The History of PDR

Paintless dent repair, also known as PDR, was developed by car manufacturers such as Porsche, Ferrari, and Bentley more than eighty years ago to remove dents and dings that accidentally occurred on the assembly line. It wasn’t until 1986 that PDR became the preferred repair process among American insurance companies for repairing hail damaged vehicles.

Paintless dent repair fully restores the equity lost from hail damage by restoring a vehicle’s parts and paint, without the need for bondo or other auto body fillers. In the early 90’s many auto body technicians realized how revolutionary this process was. This was when the professionals at MISTER DENT PRO got involved in this new and exciting industry. Many of the tools and techniques of the PDR industry have been developed by our team of skilled technicians.

MISTER DENT PRO continues to remain at the forefront of tool innovation, repair techniques, and technician training. Because of our long history in the auto body industry, we here at MISTER DENT PRO know that PDR is the best method for repairing your hail damaged vehicle. Depending on the extent of the damage, one or more panels may still need conventional repair, however, most vehicles can be repaired entirely with PDR.

If you are looking for the best repair for your hail damaged vehicle, you can rest assured that our team at MISTER DENT PRO will deliver the highest quality repair and work directly with your insurance company to make the process as simple and convenient as possible.

We attain excellence through quality repairs and exceptional customer service. MISTER DENT PRO is a family owned and operated business. Everything we do, we do to ensure that our customers are treated like family! From our family to yours, thank you for considering us as your repair facility.
